AIR: Amazing Aerial Photography of Major Cities by Vincent Laforet
Vincent Laforet recently launched his latest book titled AIR at the Fahey Klein Gallery in Los Angeles, on December 10, 2015. If you have yet to hear about it, the book is an amazing collection of photos from Vincent Laforet's recent project titled "AIR". It showcases remarkable aerial shots that the professional photographer took of major cities around the world.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer flew over cities such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and London, among other major cities around the world, and took breathtaking photographs at high altitudes.
A Little Bit About Vincent Laforet
If you haven't heard of this amazing photographer, I would recommend that you check out his work. Vincent Laforet is one of the most influential and pioneering people in the world of photography and film today.
As a filmmaker he has shot commercials for big brand such as Apple, Nike, General Electric, CNN and Canon. His photography has been seen in magazines such as National Geographic, Vanity Fair, New York Times, Time and Sports Illustrated, just to name drop a little.

He is also one of the people responsible for making the Canon 5D-MkII, one of the most important cameras in digital photography history! One of five photographers to share a Pulitzer Prize in 2002 for ‘Feature Photography'. Vincent Laforet, Stephen Crowley, Chang Lee, James Hill and Ruth Fremson, won the prize for their efforts with the New York Times in covering the post 9/11 events overseas.
American Photo Magazine listed Vincent Laforet as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Photography.”
